1993 Alpinestars Al-Mega XTR, 19.5". Full XTR M900 except for XTR M960 Front Mech and XTR M959 Pedals. Also suppled with Rockshox Indy LT Fork, aheadset and Alpinestars stem.Wheels are 36h M900 hubs on Mavic 231 rims. Vetta SL saddle, IRD seatpost, ATAC Stem, Answer Hyperlite bars, New Tioga Mud/Trail dawg tyres. £575 posted in UK.

How is the front mech secured? Looks like the front mech tab is missing to me and its been replaced by an e-type BB mounted one, but you need more than just a tight bottom bracket to keep those in place.

there is a bracket around the seat-tube above the BB shell. Just visible in one picture.

The problem with those clamps kev is that they are made for straight seat tubes, this 92 frame has a curved seatpost so the clamp sits too far forward. Hence the front mech never sits right, I had the same issue with my retro-mod cro-mega XT.

my blue al-mega runs a standard mech
granted it needed a bit of faff to make it work ,but it does work
