Can you still buy after market alloy expander bolts for old quill stems?

Like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/retro-Cinelli ... 0673098565

Was teh expander part alloy as well or just the bolt?

I'm sure I've had fairly cheap quill stems in the past with an alloy expander wedge so they're not unknown. I don't know if I'd want to put my faith in an alloy bolt for the expander though - Ti might be a better bet there.

Cinelli 1R stem came with alloy expander bolt as standard. Sure they're fine, I've certainly never heard any horror stories...

I suppose if armed with a torque wrench and not doing anything silly, you'd be fine as regards the installation.
