Never ask a lady her age......but always remember her birthday......oh dear it's coming up soon ...another year gone!

I don't celebrate birthdays, I just let the day pass by as if it were the same as the day before and day after. But I always manage to attend my local pub on my birthday, as the land lord buys birthday people a drink. A period a few years back, I even forgot how old I was, somewhere between forty and forty three was all I could remember.

They've got a weird formula on the poll for working out %. Clearly the 36 years up group is in the majority of the 127 voters yet for example 10 votes and 9 votes both class as 7% of the vote when they clearly dont :?

Sorry for my pedantry, possible side effect of being in the older half of the demographic and involved in a scientific discipline

My older years are the best years of my life so far, the ability to do as one wants and not give a toss what anyone else thinks, haha, the naughty forties.

Probably because both are rounded to a nearest whole number

Looks like they're rounded down to nearest whole number...very sad i know but:

13-16 1% [ 2 ] 2 2% 1.6%
17-20 1% [ 2 ] 2 2% 1.6%
21-25 2% [ 3 ] 3 2% 2.3%
26-30 7% [ 9 ] 9 7% 7.0%
31-35 35% [ 45 ] 45 35% 35.2%
36-40 25% [ 33 ] 33 26% 25.8%
41-50 18% [ 24 ] 24 19% 18.8%
50 7% [ 10 ] 10 8% 7.8%

Totals 96% 128 100% 100.0%

Either way, its make no real difference to the overall data analysis...
