Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

if they are being towed why bother with cranks etc, its just a guy on a linear 2 wheeled trailer at high speed
He's not being towed - there's no mechanical connection between the 2 vehicles.
But he's enclosed in the canopy and using the low pressure behind the vehicle to pull himself forwards.

It's kind of nonsense - you're effectively using a fluid coupling.
But it's incredibly dangerous.

Kinda started with this guy,

Ok now it makes sense, hes using the same principle race cars use
it's their use of towed that threw me

As an excercise to see how high a number of miles per hour one can get on a bicycle, it is interesting. Without wind resistance it doesn't have a lot to do with aero though. (Sorry, couldn't help but point that out)
Indeed. For the Bruce Burford record why go aero at all and have tribars, discs, monocoque? A missed opportunity to have some fun with it and put some panniers and a Brooks on a WR beating bike :)

In today's Tour stage, Primoz Roglic caused major consternation by those individuals who express their hate online.

His "crime"? He wore white ankle socks. When asked why he said "because it's hot"

For the record I think socks halfway up the calves are naff as naff can be.

Good for you Primoz! 👍
