Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

And aero performance is significant above 24mph.

Not retrobike factors.

Akshuuuallly....i have always been under the impression that somewhere around 14-15mph was a point where things really start to matter. It matters below that but at some point it really starts to with the whole speed and air resistance math.
Maybe i am talking out of my @rse , but come 14-15mph i think a considerable amount of the riders power is already employed in just overcoming wind resistance and drag.

@novocaine ?

The bulk of wind resistance is the rider*

At 15mph I think the difference a frame style can make is around 0.1mph

In retrobike terms, I think we do 2 significant figures on velocity😉

The 24mph difference might be getting there!

Now time triallists deffo do 3 significant figures on speed...
And race- across-america types,
so it matters to them,
hence the marketing push of aero shapes.

Id say as a rider I can notice a 1% improvement.

Less than that it's in the mind
- not that that's not important

*changing your body position will make a much greater difference than a blade- shaped frame.

Unless your nose is already on your 600 front wheel😉
