Raleigh experimented with Aero bikes building a special aero framed Roadster for the Chairman and Managing Director Ian Phillips so he could survey the vast Raleigh factory site more efficiently. Funnily enough, George is on an S5 this year as his road bike. He did an 18:52 on Friday beating the next rider on a full TT bike by 37 seconds. His persistent chasing of the details seems to work despite the naysayers.
