Because I know less than nothing about MTB, and had just bought 1 I thought I'd ask. With the seller saying Honda Special edition, I figured it was worth a stab at £32. I mean the disk brake wheel and the frame looked worth that (it needs a new back wheel).
I now know they are supposed to be 1 of only 800 made. Mine is numbered 000158, but with 3 noughts before the 158, I'd be inclined to think otherwise. After some reading it would appear many of these bikes got stickered up as "1of the 800". All in all, you MTB people regard them as "Tosh", so my friend I'm inclined to take this as gospel from you lads, rather than some internet crap about how many where made.
I mean we could all make 800 limited edition bikes, made of low end Shimano bits, but that doesn't make them good. Had a good look at your "small" collection and have learnt more from that, than any internet post
I only know my road bikes, 753,531,Columbus etc. Thanks for all the info (and use of your collection as education), later buddy, yours Laz.
