Wanted Cook Bros Skewers - Black

Hello to all

Am after a nice pair of black Cook Bros skewers. Was watching the pair that came up on Fleabay, but they're already reaching £160 GBP with shipping and taxes etc, so will need to pass on these.

Not massively bother about ally or Ti. Would obviously prefer Ti if they weren't super-expensive, but a nice ally set would be lovely as well. Not after astronomically expensive mint/NOS, just a good set of used would be perfect.

They went for $173 which is a lot for Cooks skewers

It was $173 just for the auction itself.

However, when you added on postage, and VAT, the total was actually £175 GBP!! (And they were steel skewers, not Ti) - they weren't even mint either, with the rear skewer a fair bit chewed up from usage.

It was a mad price. I'm guessing they went that high as they rarely come up on Fleabay...

Yes agree a very high price

Cooks only made the rear Ti and always kept the front Steel
