Back now - Thanks Melvin for the suggestion of visiting Groningen. We stopped two nights at the campsite in the Stadt park and walked into the city as it was so very wet! Nice city!
Otherwise we cycled around Dokkum and visited the ancient terp villages - that was after seeing Roy and Grietsje to drop off the Dave Yates for Jeroen.
It was very wet that day as well and so we didn't stop in Schoorl - sounds like a reason for a return visit in the dry!
