I'm not loving the Litespeed.... think I'll stick with steel. The IF will get some bling trinklets if/when these and other things sell.

Lets start with the wheels.

NOS Silver HuGi hubs (quiet ones ) laced with silver DB spokes to NOS
Mavic Ceramic 217's.

ZERO MILES.

26" normal spacing...no tyres or skewers etc. Beautiful wheels.

Well I guess all Ti frames feel different...some have more give/whip...this one (in my humble don't know much) opinion feels stiff. One mans meat etc

That's the effect you get with the smaller frames H. I reckon you need an 18" one!

What frame was it? I have loads of Ti frames over the years and they all ride differently by miles. Was it 3/2.5 or 6/4?

96 Obed 3/2.5 beautifully finished, one of the best Ti frames I have seen, 2nd only to 97 Merlin XLM, but the ride isn't for me.

I've ridden many Ti frames over the years. All differ, but the smaller the dimensions, then the relatively stiffer the frame feels.

My 18" Obed rides differently to previous (18") Merlins and Hei Heis I have owned. More giving than a Hei Hei certainly (possibly due to the snake stays). That said, I prefer the ride that my Reynolds 853 Explosif gives.

All personal preference though

That said, I've seen HBs Obed, and it is indeed a superb example.

Merlin 6/4 rode like an Ally hardtail, Towsen lovely as GT XiZang and Lightening, Lites always felt wooden, Hei Hei felt bit better but still wooden, Raleight Torus XT was very good, but not that light, best ride? Airborne by a long way!!!!!
