A Very British Klunker

Things are starting to slot into place nicely now. As the Sturmey Archer rear hub fits a 3 speed freewheel much better than a 4 speed and above, I decided that's what I should go for. So purchased a Regina Fulgar 16-18-20 freewheel knowing that I had a stash of Regina sockets.
Using an old chain I secured the freewheel in the vice and by using the chainwhip and a mallet managed to free the largest 2 sprockets ( the 16 tooth is an integral part of the freewheel)
So reused the 20 tooth and added a 26 tooth.
The only slight issue is the Fulgar sprockets have different width spacing between sprockets so I may need to investigate a very thin spacer but as the shifting will be friction I am wondering if this may not be an issue.
So tried an on the frame and some spreading to be done but won't be too extreme

A few more bits of the puzzle sourced.
Brooks B66 saddle. After looking at Alan Bonds excellent klunker site the B66 seems to be the best compromise between comfort and performance.
Stronglight 49D chainset. Only has a 51t chainring at the moment but Spa Cycles in Harrogate have new TA chainrings avaliable so will take a trip and chose middle and granny rings. Granny will definitely be 26t but not sure about the middle yet.

Very nice stuff, love the England text on the Brooks. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that outer TA ring is not going to work, it is a Criterium ring A.K.A. the holes are in the wrong place, I have a 46 outer of the right type I would swap if that is of any help?
