A meeting of minds...and bikes

All women riders....fancy that...

The type with low make-up / hair bills?

Heh... went for a walk around Rutland Water this weekend. Amused at posh mums in uggs, shades and full slap on the rented bikes. Attempting the uphill bits on the big ring and failing miserably.

"Jules, what gear you got?"

Some nice retro Marins passing through, a Klein and of course a lot on gear costing more than a golden bucket full of diamonds.

Something about this post doesn't add up at all. Favourite cake shop, gaggle of retro bikes, riders all female, said hello but went about business. So it's sort of *almost* as if he's saying that he didn't chat them up. Eh?

I mean he could easily have compared notes with his fellow XLM owner, explained to her how her bike qualifies as retro, but only just. Think how fascinated she would have been by that essential nuance! [Especially if he had gone to explain why it wouldn't be retro if it had been made the following year.] But the fact remains that he didn't chat them up. A bit of a puzzle really.

Could the clue be in the 'we'?

Think he might have had Mrs Wu in tow.

Hopefully they'll join, the more the merrier, although with some of the replies to this I'd suspect they don't sadly....

let's just hope they don't choose this morning to log in and have a look what the site that chap at the cake shop was banging on about, is all about shall we?

Well if their 'Mary Whitehouse' then it would be very boring. Also I hope they look good in lycra shorts.
