A Hardcore Cake Fest with The Fishbourne Lightweights

Welcome to the early learning centre.

Simple minds I suppose, but it seems sensible to me that if you are posting information about a ride (either one taking place or taken place) that you report the correct location.

Chichester and the surrounding area (where this ride takes place) is in West Sussex, quite a way west in that county, East Sussex therefore is actually quite a distance. The nearest Sussex pier is Worthing, 26 miles east along the coast from Chichester, I rode 17 miles (from my base in West Sussex) to join the ride.

That wall? In your mind boys.

RK I travelled 1100 miles to join the ride, please don't spoil the thread. I've corrected the error.

Bugloss, I am not trying to spoil the thread, but you saying you travelled 1100 miles to join the ride is clearly disingenuous.

You may live 1100 miles away but you did not travel that distance to specifically join our ride.

End of.

How do you know that, I may ask ?

I specifically re-arranged my business commitments to come to England to join the two rides that weekend.

Thanks

I can't believe this has resulted in a bloody argument.

Geography aside.

Nice report bugloss and thanks for sharing the pics. Good to get an insight into the V-CC rides, looks a different ethos to the rb one.

Were they kidding about bringing along foreign steel? Sure they loved your rapha clobber either way ;) Reckon next year we could send Edwards on one of his 'pragmatic' Dutch builds.

They were a friendly and welcoming group, I did see a Concorde there as well so I wasn't the only one riding 'foreign'.

It was the quality of the English bikes that threw me, fantastic stuff. I'll have to try harder and fly the flag next time.

If you're going to continue Roadking, do it for all of us to see and not through a PM.

Nothing untoward in my PM,

no need to suggest otherwise despite your churlish reply.

Rk.

Why don't you post it then. I resent you calling me disingenuous, childish and accusing me of being a liar.

Honestly,lighten up.

Ps. stop firing me PM's while you're at it

Chaps, think we just need to knock this on the head now.

@roadking - what were you riding

@bugloss - tempted by something British built after the V-CC ride?
