I have been telling the missus that we need to get her a better bike. She has a Halfrauds XC special from a few years ago and it weighs a ton.

I tried telling her it was set up wrong, but to no avail.. It took a ride out with PiperDave to suggest that she might want to adjust a few things, and lo and behold, a light shone through the darkness...

we went out today on a little pootle down to shoreham and back, but before we started she said..."could we put my saddle on your other GT and i take that out?"

a few tinkers later and the thin beam of light from the heavens became a full blown epiphany..

She has been dragged from the darkside, i am happy.

however..it cost me a bike

but i do get to replace it with another one

But it is still your bike really  Did a similar thing when I bought my Mrs a new bike years back. Made sure it fitted me, all it needs is to fit a longer stem and change her wide ass saddle.

hehe, indeed mikee. it got me more than a few years ago and i've been a dedicated fanboy ever since :D

we'll see bryan, i think we're officially "sharing" at the moment, as it's my road/pathetic-commute-to-my-mates-house-for-a-lift-to-work bike. I've spotted a Kona AA i'd like to get my paws on, so if i can land that, i may let her have it.
and yes, definitely up for tomorrow

yeah, it'll never be anyone else's REKI
