Exage Mountain 1989.

Though could be Exage Trail/Mountain LX (from 89)/300/400/500/Deore LX (from 1990-92) as the same basic casting was used for all of them. Oh and some 200GS chainsets as well.

I think this may run out of steam in a bit so I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead.

They are actually 400LX, made in 1992 or at least they came on a 1992 bike.
I know I could look up the code on the back but it's late on in the day an I've just come back from a ride so I can't be bothered.

I know some people said 400LX but you also said other things and you were only allowed one try. Read the rules kids!

Anyway, thanks very much for having a go, it's made the 4 hours I spent filing, sanding buffing and polishing (without a great result in the end I have to be honest) worthwhile.

Up for sale now for £14 posted, if I don't get that I'll keep them. I'll put an ad in the sale section soon. I'll bob the chainring bolts and the black biopace rings in if you really want them.

And yes, they were black originally. See below. :-D
