98+ BoTM is back for August with a bit more of a relaxed theme: Any mtb is eligible, 98 to present, as long as it has not already been entered this year or previously won.

Useful for the poll if you can structure your nomination as follows:

username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. @al's 1995 weird bouncy thing
Image(s) MAXIMUM OF 2
Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!
Link to all the rules http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/BoTM_Rules

Nominations thread will run for the entire month of August. Entries submitted after August 31st will not be counted. The poll will go up shortly after the nominations close and will run for a week.

I deleted my thread on this because I posted too many pictures of the inside of my house but here you go.

I hand painted the frame myself, you can see the components, it rips.
I love the look of this bike and enjoyed seeing the build process. I can’t imagine the time it must have taken to get that frame to look so cool.

@thetho's 2009 Brooklyn Machine Works Park Bike v2 (with components mostly from the early 2000's)

@fennec bloody love that Morewood!

I was considering entering something in myself, but I don't have anything that I like the look of quite as much as that build 😂

As it happens, I was trying to look up your build thread the other day, as I've recently picked up some Marz' drop-off triples (look like the same year as the ones on your Shova) - would you mind if I drop you a DM to pick your brains on servicing/set-up? Cheers!

Grantoury's just finished 2008 Marin Pine Mountain, which I called the "Wabi Sabi" because of its imperfection.
