I guess that’s true. I use them on a Xizang and Breezer which both have Ti forks (+ bars and seatpost) and the ride is quite soft and supple respectively, so I hadn’t really noticed.

So a double wheel deal with a mate today scored me a perfect pair of wheels for this which as mentioned are black 517 on XTR hubs with black spokes.

I actually sold these wheels to him a couple of years ago and he never used them it turns out and I had a couple of pairs he needed and so deals were made.


Just need to sort the other bits now

Yeah pain in the arse. I’ve got a Syncros if you’re interested but it needs a bloody barrel nut (I’m sure the post is cursed for me……)
