That is sweet as. Don't worry about the bars, I have exactly the same issue and since I've changed to risers my backache has disappeared.

Not sure I like the black, but hey - it seems to go well with the green.

Black is almost as contentious an issue as risers or suspension, but it is just the way it came together and now I quite like it. Plus less polishing required after wet rides to work.

i was beginning to wonder what'd happened to this. it just screams "fast as chuff!" to me..

i'll have mine built up for the july dalby meet

interestingly enough, i was looking at some of those m540 spuds this morning for mine!

i was also thinking of putting some black on mine, but the bits i seem to have acquired are red & silver.

pic below is of mine c'98(?) and it's gonna look pretty much like that when it's finished!

Here is the Saracen Special Edition.....before anyone says anything about the saddle, my Mum has been riding it for the last couple of years and at 61 she wasn't keen on the original!

Spec should be pretty easy to see, as is the rust on nearly every part! I am in two minds as to what to do, try and restore or sell to someone with more time and enthusiasm for a project like this! Open to suggestions, but of course I'll then need to get my Mum a new steed!

That bike should have had Magura Hydros on it when stock I think, a friend of mine had one - very nice.

A slight update with a shorter stem and some Z2 Bam's purchased from Ozone. They are in mint condition . Would have preferred black or silver as I'm not sure about the red and green, but I love the overall look/shape of the bike. Nothing left to change now - just have to save up for a Hei Hei frame and I will have completely replaced the bike which I said "I will be keeping original"!

I'll probably get round to sticking some spenshun' on mine at some point if i ever happen across a suitable fork.

If you fancy some forks and it is a medium rather than large, you could always buy the RC36 I bought for this one. Got them from Dr s but the steerer was just too short. Was looking for £90 posted, but will consider offers.
