94 Kilauea - slight spec change and some updated pics

Tange decal refitted with some carefully trimmed double sided tape.
Got a pair of nos amberwall ritchey alpha and omega bites, but prefer wildgrippers for riding.
Chain protector will be gone when sharkfin arrives.

First ride should be tonight provided I get home from work at a decent hour!

Have to agree with the above that this is the best colour for a frame. Stunning.

Also agree that some black tyres would look better, but thats only my opinion.

Nice build.

Now changed the tyres for some Ritchey amberwalls, added a sharkfin and managed to source a minty XTR M900 cassette

Looking much nicer without the Wildgrippers - I'd quite happily give it houseroom, except it would be too big for me. What size frame is it - 19"?

Cool anyway 8)

Absolutely stunning...

I'm gonna have to save up for that Pace or get my Kilauea done the same.

You must me very happy.......now go and get it dirty :D

Spot on,those last few tweaks made a big difference. Put some proper pedals on it and it's not far from my idea of mountain bike perfection... If only it were a size smaller. Glad I don't have a bike as nice as that otherwise I think I'd never use it for fear of getting it dirty after all that effort!
