That polishing looks a treat, I'm glad you found a cone to fix the hub. I'll probably be riding the '90 Cinder Cone and maybe the DBR ti if I can get some enthusiasum to build it. I have a full 1995 XT group set and RC35 forks ready to go on.

Sounds good, can I have a sneak preview ?
Almost finished the Scott now ,
Had a busy week sorting bits and pieces that had accumulated for it .
Got it all together at the weekend .
Here's a few piccys for ya
That is shiny paint around the b/b joints , not bare metal as it looks ! I actually had to go and check , when I saw the photo
Not sure about colour of bar tape yet , or if I'm going to like the bars . Time will tell . The bar tape looked ok with the faded fluoro stickers , 'til I came across some new ones for the top tube and put them on , to replace the very tired looking originals . And yes , I did lacquer over them !
I do have a pair of nice Ritchey flat bars on their way to me , so they will go on if I don't like these . I've doubled the bar tape where grips would otherwise go , to give my old bones a bit more cushioning
Full bikes worth of tat ! Wearing a Flite for now , but I do have a Ritchey Vector Plus Rail on the way , which may well go on instead .
Also making an anti chain suck thingy out of some aluminium I have knocking about . My other Scott frame came with one , so I've just used that one as a template for this bike .
So just a possible saddle swap , and to try these weird looking bars out , and it'll be finished . If I like them , I may see if I can find some fluoro bar tape instead of this bright green stuff .
Hope you like it boys and girls
Thanks ,
Mike
