Before I looked at the pictures I thought that the black wall tyres would look best. But it's tan wall for me now, subject to a comparison test ride of course, (it's going to be a rider after all).

What did you use to touch up the chain stay? Looks to have been a good match.

Ross i haven’t touched the paint, all the damage is hiding under the shark fin and behind the cranks so can’t really be seen now bikes built, there is some historic touching up but not the best match close up :roll:

Thats looking nice, i like the blacke components. Not sure about the black fork legs though, maybe orange or white legs may have looked better, but a minor thought if it had been mine, which its not, so carry on

As for tyres, the black walls really help the frame stand out, however, the tan walls help the whole bike stand out
