note, Eddy's de rosa had a pat 77 1st gen rd, he was meant to have won on it around that time, but the model on the wall has the '79 fd, the owner said he drove Eddy mad for a bike, he was given this, and had it renovated, so methinks the fd was mounted later

Interesting on the pictures of the Merckx frame that you say it's a De Rosa, but the drawings are a Colnago.
