753 Seat Pin Size

Have been offered a frame supposed to be 753

what size should the seat post be ????

Barry be careful buying old 753 its is prone to cracking

Perhaps that was why the old 753 frame I just bought was only £50...



Haven't inspected it fully yet, a mate picked it up for me.

I guess it depends on the frame but are there any areas where it will typically crack?

yup, be careful as they tend to break around the chainstay where the chainstay bridge is brazed. i've seen 753 frames in 26.8 to 27.4 diameter depending on how old the tubing/ frame is.

i wouldn't ride anything less!
