3Down Audax.

It's been a mild but wet winter for me and I've been able to ride all the way through, which has been great as I normally have at least 3 months of ice and snow. So the old legs don't feel too lardy, plus I've got this to deal with in May  : http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/14-195/

I'm in training this weekend, which is something that I normally shun as I just like to go out riding.
I'm an Audax virgin and I got carried away dreaming...........which I may live to regret

Just a case of pacing it out and not giving it the gun at the start, I've done my first century of the year a couple of weeks back and have a 200k audax next weekend

Enjoy...

Cheers,

I'm planning on being a Steady Eddy and the silver De Rosa is now sporting a Carradice saddle bag, double halogen headlamps and muddies. It looks a bit weird.

Here's a picture of the "thing" with a Mr. Whippy van resting against it.

I can thoroughly recommend the purchase of a large "99" when things start to get a bit wobbly, perked me up a treat.

I managed to hit the mother of all potholes at 307 km's and blew the front inner tube, luckily the wheels had been laced 4 times and are super strong. They went with a twang but remained true.
