2nd hand kilts - anyone know where to look?

With the coming of summer.... well it's pretty much arrived I'm after a new kilt, cannae afford a 'new' one so looking for a good 2nd hand 'un, can anyone suggest a good shop/website where to look please?

I'll 2nd Armstrongs in Edinburgh - you get ex military kilts there too, full 15 yrds.

most kilt hire shops have sell offs once or twice a year but it varies when, just go in and ask at a local one.

If you dont really care,Likely theyre made of something other than wool.not what you would normally choose but in summer a cooler option mightn't be such a bad idea :?

Whats people thoughts to non Scottish people wearing them ?

Found out at work there's no reason why I can't wear shorts so said "fook it , I'll wear a skirt then" . But don't want to spend all my time having to tell people I'm not a Scot .

Also do they hinder riding in any way ?

I don't mind who wears one, they can get caught in your spokes but if you sit in it it will usually be ok. Cycling is the only situation where wearing underwear is acceptable due to chaffing
