Dirt Disciple
I say chaps, get your tweeds out, this one's for you.
23" W.F.Holdsworth circa 50's with fancy Nervex lugs and Agrati ends. 531 double butted finished in deep green with white lugs and panels plus the correct head badge. Dunlop 'special lightweight' 27" rims rebuilt with new stainless spokes on Airlite hubs. CLB brakes, Atax stem and North road bars, SR Campag copy seat pin and Brooks B17 saddle. Huret Svelto rear mech with Simplex changer, Regina silver 5 speed block, new chain, Milremo 5 pin cranks and 40 tooth TA chainring. Phillips pedals and clips and straps.
I'm only selling it as it's just too big for me. It's old, obviously, but all rebuilt and rides superbly, the gearing runs from 77 to 38 so it will be good to go virtually any where. It's £495 ono, collection and cash would be preferred.

Just so you know, the lugs are not Nervex. It is the Monsoon model, which used the very attractive and unique lug design filched from the Freddie Grubb Perfection, following the acquisition of Grubb by Holdsworth in about '52, I think.

Nice bike, and the colour scheme sets it off nicely.
