I have been away for a week or so, I had to catch up on the house and other stuff.
Cycling shoes were on the top of my list of things to replace because the current pair are falling apart. I was able to find a very nice pair of Sidi Shot 2S road bike shoes from BikeInn for a reasonable price (no comment), on the way.
Next up, I found a reasonable copy of a Met Drone wide body time trial helmet (CE rated) on AliExpress for a very reasonable price ($60.00)
And a black skinsuit from AliExpress (of course), All I can say about this is the seams appear to be in the right places, no pockets : ), and it's aero ribbed ($45.00)
So the plan is wash the skinsuit and visit the taylor to get the wrinkles out, peel the funky graphics off the helmet, break the shoes in on the Colnago (AKA The Pink Panther), and find some outrageous sox and good quality gloves.
So I think I put the money where it needed to go, the shoes were cost no object as their a cross platform thing and I cheaped out on the TT specific stuff in case I'm an abject failure at time trialing... Wish me luck.
