That's insane. I remember how hard it was to break the hour when I was a teenager. Took me two years hard graft!

Took long enough along with much more advanced Tech than in Alf’s day! Just shows you how good Alf really was & he himself said he was on for a 47min ride when he called pulled over by the cops…..on the famous Swanscombe Cutting course…
It does kinda make you wonder what Alf would have done in today’s world when you have access to the latest tech, science, nutrition etc…
