does anyone know how to take the topcap things off these forks? so i canget to the internals. ive been using a socket but they dont want to play ball :evil:
Can remember exactly but im sure they come off very easily.Just unscrew like the majority :?
I seem to remember spring in one side ,empty in the other.I found them a flexible and thoroughly unpleasant fork to ride on :x
just for the mrs bike until she gets better forks as her current ones have play
cant seem to unscrew the platic caps though
just to clean the spring as it sounds a bit boingy and dry
realised the old fork was a judy tt too! so the stuck topcap got hammered/screwdrivered out and the internals got the frenkenfork treatment (took out topout springs), they now sit higher
