2000 Porsche S-Bike

New Zoom manual dropper works smoothly and of course it had to be a Turbo didn’t it? 6C668395-6454-45CF-BCE3-C6131DDD8FFF.jpeg 02B33444-4079-48BB-AA93-40572246A746.jpeg

No this is a “manual” post, so the lever is tucked just under the nose of the saddle. Very neat and easy to use (although of course not as easy as a thumb switch on the bars)
Ideal for a retro build.

brilliant thanks. strangely enough, the "lever under the seat post" type is the one I want, more Ebay searching in my future (shame I want a 27.2mm)

Edit to add, this bike is stunning. except the saddle. :p

I know, when I ride it I'll most likely stick a flite on it, by my lad (it's his bike) likes the Turbo and I think it suits the build.

Right-ho!… it’s finished…
Full XTR M950/51(thanks to @Matttymm & @Once A Hero)
And @Our Jimmy fancied a touch of grello to match the tyres & his helmet. Fortunately we had some leftover cable from his Pace build, a Cube bottle cage in the odds & sods bin and last but not least a set of NOS ODI attacks karma’d by @Smithjss70

Does it weigh any less? Well it did. It dropped down to just below 11kg but with the Turbo saddle, more modern tyres, manual dropper post and monster wide motor bike bars it’s right back (almost) where we started at 12kg. No worries, it’s clean now & works, hopefully I’ll get a quick ride in tomorrow. 😎 0C3C3773-286F-4DA4-B33B-15469A624A27.jpeg 9F75F4F9-F402-4C63-9227-74E4E64588C7.jpeg E54AD777-648A-4CD4-8ABB-3798F52F9F5D.jpeg 84025926-848A-4F83-91BE-49292EFCE492.jpeg 6BD7C02E-5E5C-427A-8039-ADEC25C9A6C4.jpeg 6767B768-3D68-4417-8599-A88792D79810.jpeg 0BDAA5A3-6A19-4BD1-9625-E703D5A74B3C.jpeg 4D2EF21D-745B-4F79-99DE-378C0D55284C.jpeg

the fork leg tops hurt my OCD, why is the right lower than the left?
that is a rather tasty beast, except the saddle, obviously. I hope that helmet doesn't get lost, otherwise you'll be recabling it. :) love the addition of valve caps.

Ah, no that’s the foam rings that stop damage to the frame tubes, they’ve not been pushed down equally. My bad.

Im looking at the stack above the top crown. Right side sits higher than left. Might be the way it should be for what i know.
