The chunky tubes need a chunky fork.

RC36 are quite skinny.

I’d go bomber Z2 personally

Yeah I’m leaning towards a Bomber but I can’t find one in a colour I like or in good nick.

Might have to be an another respray job……

That looks good although I’m sorry to say the decals let it down. They look like Gil’s old ones which were not quite right.

Correct, they were too orange and I was a bit disappointed. This added to the issue of a dint showing up on the top tube after it was blasted and resprayed. I still put more than 3000km on it before retiring back in 2016. Unfortunately when taking the BB out the frame threads came along for the ride so its dead now but I have kept it as an ornament

Sooo my baby Ku is back from Bluewhippet and I am litterally over the moon with the finish.

It’s a perfect colour match to the original and the paint quality is lovely, most importantly they nailed the postion of the decals and the vinyl stickers under the lacquer look amazing!

Very very happy!!!
