Pretty amazing condition with specification as it would have been when it left the shop.

A real ecclectic mix:

XT Rear Mech
LX Front Mech
STX Cantis
Dia Compe Levers
Grip Shift Twist Shift
LX Hubs
Mavic Rims

I couldn't quite believe that it would be sold from new with such a variety of kit on it, but the spec sheet is correct. I guess Specialized must have been tied in to so many component suppliers it was the only way to satisfy all by having a little of everything!

Rides ok with the exception of a hideous front wheel wobble, a number of loose spokes!

Non original parts are Flite (But let's be honest that's a great upgrade!) and Tyres.

Apologies for my lousy photography!

I saw your Stumpy, lovely job. Strangely this, like yours was in near original condition for £80!! With some Bonty slicks on! I much prefer it's current set up! Tyres wise I managed to get the rear boxed NOS from eBay for £18!!, the front came from Canada via another retro bike forum member. Just missing some bits for the front canti s to be able to cable up...Frustrating waiting!
