1996 Bontrager Privateer - AKA I finally managed to get one.

Too many privateers in my life and a hankering for a new yeti means that I'm thinking of selling this.

Nice build - i hope it found a good home. I'm trying to find some information on the original rigid privateer forks - do you still have the once that came whit the bike?

I don't , but the 1996 fork was a 1" rigid steerer, that was suspension corrected. - approx 410-420mm a-c. I have used an exotic carbon fork with bontragers and I think it looks really good.

It looks very nice - i'm just curious because in the photos i can find of the original uni-crown fork it doesn't look so long, more like 390-400mm.
