Interesting differences with Kona geometry. Comparing a size 17.5 Altitude to a size 17 Kona, its Oberrohr is a cm shorter and its Steuerrohrlänge is 1.5cm shorter. So the 17.5 RM is effectively a size smaller than the 17 Kona, and only a tiny fraction bigger than a size 16 Kona.
Comparing my '91 RM, to a '97 Kona both 20", top end.
The Kona is longer, far far higher at the front and standover height, from first testing, is also higher (that's using similar length A2C fork), probably because Kona seem to use a very long headtube.
Though of course the '91 is not suspension corrected so probably not a good comparison
The RM catalouge for the specifications dimensions is blurred, but 17.5" was the smallest the '96 Altitude T.O came in.
But I think they are (for 17.5)
Head Angle 71.0 , (though could be their more normal 71.5)
Seat Angle 73.5
Stock 125mm stem would be on it.
