Just to say those are all 1996 forks. 1995 P2s have Project Two written down the side of the blade with an orange flash underlining the letters.

The other 143mm pair will fit an 18" frame no problem, also I used the 123mm ones on my 18" LD with an ahead extender, it worked a treat.

Most 1996 bikes were made in 1995 - 1996 bikes went on sale about September 1995 and were built months earlier. I am not sure whether there were any differences in physical specification or not, but the colours and decals were different and other parts, in particular the stems, were keyed to the P2 colour. If you have a 1995 Kona with 1995 parts, the 96 P2 won't look right.

This is a 1995 P2. As you can see, the 1995 Velocity is the same colour and has the same orange flash, which also keys in to the colour in the spiral.
