Bit of an impulse purchase this as I always wanted a Marin as a kid and I have been looking for a cheap retro project.
This fit the bill nicely and it was £30 can't really complain.

here it is after 10 minutes fettling, the bike is in surprisingly good condition, a bit of gt85, gear indexing and one unseized brake later she was good to go.
Obviously needs a bit of work however it's perfectly usable and I did a 8 mile ride with it this afternoon with no problems. I'm on the fence on what to do with it the plan was to use it as a beater/commuter bike however after tacking it for a spin this afternoon I'm tempted to give it a service upgrade a few parts and use it for light XC duty.
