Not sure of the year of manufacture and whether it is in fact an RTS-2, or RTS-3 (yet).
Yes: those used to be yellow Corratec Diamant slick tyres

Stripped to 'bare' aluminum

The initial plan is to throw some parts on it to get it rideable to see if this full susser is a keeper.
If so, I might consider to sit down, remove some stickers and polish, although I actually like the 'patina' ;)

The Tioga Alchemy headset is still running smooth, as is the BB.

Loads of potential :D

Can anyone tell me what year this beast was manufactured? S/n doesn't say much (to me)..

While reading this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=109282 I extracted the following points of attention that might point towards type of RTS and year of manufacture:

s/n: 5(?) C(G?) 024811 -the first bit is partially covered by a thick weld :) ..
Rear triangle pivot: present
Shock: Noleen w/ piggyback
Material decal: 7000 series

So, would that make it a 1995 GT RTS-2.. ?

Wow! tharts a lot of decals for one bike
Hoping to secure my very first badge on here, for 'retrobike with most decals' ;)

 your GT is gonna take some beating :p
Yup :D!
There are even decals (other than the original Mavic ones) on the gold rims.., that match the gold of the Mag21's perfectly, BTW
