1994 SONOMA CROSSTRAC - NOS!!

That's my 1st one i'd ever seen and hopefully not the last as that is just shear " Beauty " and you may just be onto somthing with a comment like that from your Mrs ;) ..

Re:

the frame didn't come with the seatpost to saddle clamps so i have to have them machined. I asked a crosstrac owner to confirm my assumed dimensions, hopefully he will come through!

Looking at that, I would make the whole thing slightly wider, say 53mm, so you have a bit more meat outside the rails, if you see what I mean. Perhaps have the cutouts a bit deeper as well, 1mm sounds a bit shallow to me.

See the bottom part of this USE seatpost rail clamp, which is similar in design:

Re:

yep, with help from a fellow crosstrac owner who took the time to check every dimension with a caliper I have modified the dimensions for the cnc aluminum. thanks Adriano!

Re:

Well this is done...very happy with it.

I found a near NOS Marinoni MTB which gave up its pristine M900 Group / Wheelset. The seatpost part was machined out of Aluminum and polished..fits perfectly!
