1994 GT Avalanche (20in) rigid forks (Axle to Crown measurement) Help!

Hi there,

I've just picked up a forkless 20 inch 1994 Avalanche All Terra. Unfortunately, the original forks were sold before the frame, so I have nothing to measure off. However, I've come to the understanding that it most likely would have been fitted with front shocks from the factory.

I would be looking to fit a rigid fork whilst keeping the geometry of the bike as standard as possible.

Does anyone out there have a 20in Avalanche that they could measure from, or knows roughly what I'd need?

A couple of threadless options that have popped up whilst researching are:

Any advice would be amazing! I'm also going to contact my local bike coop and see what they have.

BTW I'm UK based.

Thanks, Andy
