1993 Rocky Mountain Equipe 17" - Puppet V 2.0

First off.... anyone able to confirm the year?

I believe it is a 1991, but may be a 90 or 92. Does NOT have the wishbone rear stays.
My first Equipe did have the wishbone rear stays and I am sure that was a 1990, so maybe this is a 91?

Digging through catalogues I am now of the opinion that it is a 1993.

Tange Perstige Ultralite tubing and full DX groupo.

Having previously owned a 90 and a 92 Equipe it feels like coming home riding her.

Picked this up early today ($250.xx CDN) for parts for a build I am doing as a gift to a childhood friend (Craig).

Have decided I will be keeping keep the Equipe frame and replacing my 2000 Hammer Race frame with this Equipe. I'll build up the Hammer Race for Craig..

Picked it up off a collector (saw one of the nicest Moots I have ever had the pleasure of seeing in my lifetime today) who is also a fellow professional photographer and as a result of the meeting I have met a new brother from another mother.

I am hoping the Ritchey seatpost fits my Ritchey Ascent Compe. The stem will be going onto the Montana Pro build.

Wheels and DX group will be going on the Hammer Race build for Craig.
Came OG with a factory rigid fork that he is going to look for as he believes he still has i somewhere.
Paint is a metallic flake black.

Anyone have a source for decals as I am thinking of a repaint for this beauty?

Shocks actually still function so will donate them to the roomie's BFs build.

Syncros bar I suspect will be going up for sale if anyone wants to call dibs. I'd keep it for myself but it has been cut down (measurements to come).

In my opinion, it is 92 or later. According to my notes, they switched from the Rocky Mountain logo to the maple leaf sticker for the tubing decal in 1992

Yeah... I managed to find catalogues for 90-93 thanks to this wonderful site.
Looking through them, 93 appears to be the first year without the wishbone rear stay and everything else matches up.

Have updated the title from 91 to 93 and added a line to OG post.

And having looked at the '93 in the catalogue, it came with the Rock Shox, so I be thinking he didn't remember it as it sat on the showroom floor. He did add a different seat, handlebar and pedals when he bought it. So fair enough, easy to forget it came from the factory with a shock give it was 30 years ago.

The game plan is to take everything except the BB from my customized Hammer Race and build up the Equip.

I am crossing fingers that my Raceface cranks won't be an issue.
Headset (going from threaded Ritchey 1 1/8" to Ahead system) should be fine.

And as I write this, I am wondering if there is still anyone on Vancouver Island (BC, Canada) who could weld in a rear disc brake mount.... hrms.... it's a damn light tubeset to let anyone without actual world experience near. Machinist me ponders is this tubeset too light for disc brakes... I wanna say no? Can anyone enlighten or add or educate on this subject?

Smart me say to email Rocky, or Paul Brodie or Chris Dekerf and ask them (then it becomes the issue of time away - but that would be the perfect time for a repaint).

Pic of said Hammer Race for reference.
