That's a very nice Explosif :D One of my favorite colours, as it happens..

Did you ever get her repainted? Hard to tell from the pics.

How does the bike ride? I presume the frame is a 18"?

Cheers and congrats for the find

Oh god, really lovely build until I scrolled down and spotted the wheels...sorry but IMO they don't sit well on that bike.

What a lovely Kona, I just bought a 1994 myself, and are going to change the fork into a rigid one. Guess your frame is pretty much the same set up as the 1994, would you know if headset is a 1» or a 1.1/8»? Thanks

Cool, nice bike, do you know a name for the colour.
I have a 93 Explosif frame that needs repainting, I'm not keen on the two tone colour schemes.

I'm not sure, someone mentioned 'Titanium Green' when I first picked it up.
It looks dark green or even black but as soon as the sun catches it it sparkles 8)

I love the bike, but im not a fan of the wheels either - save them for a Zaskar or LTS build - Good excuse for another bike too!

I've got some purple hope wheels coming soon, so I was going to try my hand at breaking them down and building some new ones combining some NOS Mavic 217 sunset rims and the hope hubs.
So watch this space!
