1993 Fisher Alembic carbon fiber fs (1 of 7)

This was to be the evolution of the RS-1 full suspension design. There were 7 prototype bikes made but this was right as Fisher was selling out to Trek who declined to pursue the project. Pretty neat bike and it would have been cool to see what would have happened if it had made it to production (price estimate of $5,500) We have a second Alembic here as well (little lesser condition than this one). Wonder when the last time there were 2 of them in the same room?

Awesome. If I owned it, I would hang it on the wall so I can admire it's beauty and rarity on a daily basis.

You don't happen to have a Monolith FS bike in your collection?...that one is another one of my rare favorites.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM 8) carbon porn........................2 you say :P

(greedy bugger  )

Remember seeing an article on that a long time ago. Good to see some decent pics!

Liking the built-in bottle carrier - excellent for collecting mud in UK climes...!

Also the dual elastomer shocks are a nice touch!

Fancy selling the Pro-Stop rear caliper - or have you a spare per chance...?!

I owned one of those 7 bikes, too. It was posted on here awhile ago under reader's rides-it's in Switzerland now.
