1992 Raleigh Dyna-Tech MT4

It's certainly a coincidence
But even though we are brothers, it seems to me that it is more difficult to get a World Class, so I guess that makes it somewhat more exclusive

PS. By the way, I have to write the full name of the brand, the abbreviation doesn't look very good (W.C.)😄

I've had a couple days and made some decent progress, nearly at the stage of "That will do for now". Some fettling still to be done with gears and brakes... It needs some more purple at some point in the future lol, the m900 + wheels are almost too nice to be ridden much... so I might be looking to downgrade from m900 to something lighter and more rideable to me, like m735 etc... depends if its going to be a garage queen or actually ridden!

Managed to get out for a short ride.... rear brake still needs more adjustment( its like trying to shoot between goal post the brake posts are so far apart!).. and I gained a puncture yay... The MT4 actually fits me better now than at 15.... so I did grow into it.... lol looking forward for some longer rides when the weather perks up..

To be perfectly honest I was half expecting to get on it & find disappointment after viewing with rose tinted glasses, but its lovely to ride!

EDIT: So after a brief look at my messages on RB, I pretty much took a decade to sort this build out... I started to buy bits for in January 2015... I suspect the next build may not take a decade....

The first post in the thread appears malformed... not sure how to fix as when I click on edit, it looks ok?

Looks great, what size is this? And what height are you? I’ve seen an Odyssey local to me that looks this size but don’t know if it would fit me at 6ft.?

It’s an 18 inch and I’m 5 ‘10’, I would think you would be looking for an 19 inch but the geometry is slightly different on the Odyssey in comparison to the mt4 and ogre’s.

This is the Odyssey. It looks massive but I think it’s just because of the flex stem angle etc

So it's confirmed I'm an idiot! The MT4 is in fact a 19 inch frame... I can't even remember how this came to be.. with that out the way...

Let the rebuild commence, some photos from today...

The m900 is being swapped out for m735, some cleaning and lubing still to be done... but mostly there

Excuse the misaligned logos, I'll probably be swapping to the black wall versions of the smoke & darts? The Ateks seemed almost too nice for this build so we have some nice used m231's going on :)

I wasn't happy with the look with the Flite Ti saddle or the zoom seatpost so these have been swapped out

the next job, strip, clean, replace the bearings & lube hubs...
