I hear that on the lock-- even in New Haven my policy is to only lock up a bike where I can see it. Haven't lost one yet...knock on wood.

A few shots from a quick late afternoon ride at Elings Park near my place. I need to explore a bit more in here.... there's a neat network of short track trail berm and trails. Lots of hikers/runners and dogs are a downside for biking, but the views are great---the other direction is all ocean.

A few updates--stem, wheels, handlebar. I dropped about a pound and a half.....now at a more agile 24.3 lbs even with the porky saddle, seatpost, and bar.
