Bought this bike for for next to nothing based on a single blurry picture. These thing came with the full DX groupset and I was hoping to get some parts out of it. The bike turned out to be in worse shape than expected and while there's still salvageable parts, I don't think I'll be parting it out just yet. The sticker on the frame says it's 22" (it's definitely not), which was the largest size. I think I have to restore it enough to see what it's like to ride. That will surely be a challenge, the pictures don't quite convey how sad this thing looks.

The most satisfying part of a restoration has got to be tossing the plastic clip-on mudguards in the trash. However, stripped and washed the bike isn't looking much better. The fork in particular looks absolutely terrible.

Couldn't get the rear wheel centered while truing and discovered the chainstays weren't symmetrical. I think it has to be by design, the tubes are so thick there is no other way to fit the cassette in.

The bottom bracket feels and sounds like a coffee grinder. I dread disassembling the hubs. And something will have to be done about the groupset. I think I can save the cranks and the mechs, but the left shifter is broken and the brakes are mismatched.
