Wanted 8/9/10 speed freehub (picture inside)

Need a freehub with the internal teeth (not sure on the proper terminology lol). I'm converting another bike with a broken front derailleur to a 1x10 from 3x7 but I can't for the life of me get ahold of another freehub like this, and I don't want to disassemble my other bike for it. I've tried eBay but the sellers either send the wrong item or cancel the order when they realise they don't have stock. Other advice appreciated too

I know that this is an old thread.

Have you tried a newer Shimano deore freehub? You didn't say what hub you are trying to fit this on and I have fit the modern 10s deore freehub on a deore dx, lx, and parallax lx hubs with no problem. The part's cheap to. I think it's only $20 new and the whole hub is also easy to find used at co-op's too.
