So after a few years one of these beauties popped up locally again. I had to have it. It’s the correct frame size for me 16” rather than the huge 18” version I had.
Such a great bike. This one is not completely original. It has DX Thumbies instead of the original DX under-bar integrated shifters. The chainset is worn horribly and I’ve swapped it for a parts box Suntour XC Pro. Could do with some new jockey wheels too. It had its original very rusty chain on.
it’s getting some black grips and grey GT seat. I’ve done enough to make it rideable but it does need some further TLC and a good degrease and service.
