Re: 1991 Chas Roberts D.O.G.S B.O.L.X

did you remember to put them left to right as well as upside down.?

Re:

these are smashing bikes and don't come up too often so keeping hold of them seem the way forward - I see a lot of people don't seem to like the classic black and white but I think its a great colour scheme for this bike - that said the lite green one looks goof too

I'd say you have that backwards, as almost all the recently restored DB's on this site have been black and white.

There are a couple of exceptions, and also some originals in bright colour schemes, but most folk seem to go for B&W.

im purely basing it on comments Ive read on the forum i.e. 'not another black and white CR!' personally I think its a great scheme.....as I have one in that scheme and love it :D

I like Gio's with the detail on the drop outs too.

I didn't no, I didn't think about that. So the front shifter on the left and the rear on the right.

Is that correct?

Re: 1991 Chas Roberts D.O.G.S B.O.L.X

You want the front mech thumbie on the right (when sat on the bike) and rear mech on the left mate. You'd struggle to shift once the cables are under tension if you put them the other way around.
