I have a pair of Mavic Helium Wheels In great nick.
The only problem is,it's produced a slight play in rear hub axle.
Does anyone know where i could get a new axle or bits.
They are from the late 90s.
Or guide me to a dealer etc
All the best

Mechanically, Heliums are exactly the same as Crossmaxes, just with a different axle.

The play can probably be adjusted out using the small holes in the silver cover on the non-drive side. If not then it's the bearings that will need changing and they are a fairly standard size.

It's probably just a matter of tightening the bearing. See if you can find a Mavic tool:

Or try a pin spanner.
Instructions here.

If you do need to replace the hub bearings, they're 1x 6903 2RS (30x17x7) and 1x 608 2RS (22x8x7). Try VXB.com or SimplyBearings.co.uk

All the best,
