Hi,

I'm renovating a bike and looking to sell on the older suntour group that came off it to fund the parts I need to finish the build as I alreadsy have a more modern group to go on it.

Early 90's SunTourXCD groupset: like so

Altogether the group seems to have seen little use, though there are spots of corrosion on some of the fittings or anodising which is cosmetic.

The wheels are lovely-Mavic 3cd clincher rims, brass nipples, suntour 7spd freewheel, barely worn ano on the front although some of it has flaked on the back. The hubs have no play but feel like they could use a re-grease. Freewheel is 7spd Suntour and in excellent condition.

170mm cranks, 28, 38, 48-the chainrings look equally unused and the brake blocks also. It has the bar-mounted thumb-shifters which look interesting and I've included the original catalogue scans to get the manufacturer spec if you are interested.

In all, a quality touring group that's seen little use.

£150 for the whole group, or if splitting; £75 wheels, £35 cranks, £30 front/rear mechs, £20 cantis, £20 thumb shifters.

Cheers!

Hi.
Would you take £17.00 posted for the command shifters?Presuming the indexing is still o.k.
Regards
Peter

Hi Peter, the thumbies shift ratio is specific to Suntour mechs so I'd rather not split until there is interest in the rest of the group. Cheers

Hi.
Fair enough.I am in no rush so if you decide to split them then drop me a pm. many thanks
Regards
Peter
